I am delighted to welcome the candidates seeking admission into Sylhet Medical Assistant Training School I have great pleasure in briefly recapitulating the events leading to the development of the first ever MATS in the Sylhet Division. In this MATS, the students are highly valued and the academic programme is well organized. In addition to the academic programme, Faculty members are available to the students to assist, support, counsel and give guidance to solve their problems. Medical
profession is the noblest of all profession. We felt that it could become difficult for the government to achieve this goal on its own alone. We continue to practice the motto that all operating surplus, if any, would be utilized only for the development of the institution. We were also pledge bound to shun any tendency to compromise the quality to it in the area of education or health care services and that in course of time the institution would be turned into a Centre of excellence. We are also grateful to our well-wishers who remain our constant sources of inspiration. Our motto remains as “Quality medical education and health care services” to make our land more liable for all.
